Booking and cancellation
Can I book an escape room myself?
Yes, you can do that via the green button at the top right of this page. Select your preferred date and escape room, pick an available time slot, and complete your booking. We will ask for your name, phone number and email address.
Do I have to pay in advance?
No, that is not necessary. If you book yourself online, you can choose whether to pay in advance or afterwards.
How can I pay?
You can pay in advance using iDeal, PayPal or Credit Card. If you pay after playing at our location, you can pay by debit card. Payment with cash is not possible. For business customers, it is possible to receive an invoice.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can. You can cancel up to 7 days before the escape room play date.
Playing the escape rooms
How long does it take to play an escape room?
Playing our escape rooms takes about 60 minutes. Black Box and Aurum take about 75 minutes.
With how many people can I play your escape rooms?
For groups of 2 to 6 people, you can choose from Mindcrime or Budapest Express. Aurum is played with 3 to 5 players. With 7 to 12 people, you can choose the Mindcrime Battle or the Black Box For 13 or more people, you can play the Black Box. A total of 42 people can play an escape room with us at the same time. A children's version is available for all our escape rooms. Escape Room Time Machine can be played with 8 to 15 children.
What time should I be at the location when I play an escape room?
We ask you to be present 15 minutes before the booked time so that the game can start on time.
Can I book an escape room exclusively?
When you play an escape room with us, this escape room is only for you. You will not enter the escape room with strangers. If you are with a large group, it is possible to have exclusive use of our entire location, including escape rooms and lounge.
About the escape rooms
Are escape rooms scary?
No, our escape rooms are not scary. Of course, they are exciting and you might get scared. But our rooms are not designed to scare you. Aurum has bits that are a bit exciting. Read more about it on the page of Aurum.
Can I play an escape room if I have been drinking?
Playing under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted and would not be fair to your fellow players. Our game masters need to keep their full attention on the group, so it is not possible to wait elsewhere on the premises. Please note that full charges apply for players who arrive under the influence.
What do escape rooms cost?
With us, you pay a price per escape room. The price depends on the number of people you come to play with. You can find the prices of our escape room here.
Did any of your escape rooms win a prize?

Escape rooms for children
Do you have children's escape rooms?
Yes, escape room The Time Machine is specially designed for children. A supervisor from us is present in this escape room to help the children if they get stuck. For Mindcrime, Mindcrime Battle and Budapest Express we have a special children's version. And we watch along with a camera while playing, so we can give the kids a bit of guidance at the right time.
From what age are your escape rooms?
Children as young as 9 years old can play our escape rooms at a birthday party. For children under 13, a parent accompanies them in the room. If you want to play as a family with children under 9, that is also possible. We will then adjust the light and sound effects for you.
Can we have a children's party at your place?
Yes, you can. You can book one or more escape rooms yourself. When booking, indicate that you will be escaping with children. We adapt our escape rooms so that they can be played by children. Read more about an escape room birthday party.
Do I have to be present as a parent when my children play escape room?
Yes, we ask parents to stay at our location. Are the children under 13 years old? Then a parent accompanies them in the escape room. This is fun for the children, but also for the parent. Then you get to see exactly what the children are doing and how much fun they are having.
As a parent, can I also participate?
You certainly can (and we heartily recommend it!). It's great fun to take part because you are part of the experience yourself. We dare to predict in advance that it will be challenging enough for most parents too... If you want to join, you can add yourself as an adult to the booking.
Do I have to pay if I join the escape room as a companion?
No, do you accompany children while playing the escape room? Then you can enter the escape room for free.
