Escape room birthday party
Backspace is a great place for an escape room birthday party. Kids absolutely love it, and parents appreciate how smoothly everything runs. Children spend a full hour solving puzzles, exploring the rooms and working together as a team. Exciting, engaging and completely different from a typical birthday party.
We recommend our escape rooms for children aged 9 and above. They can choose between two rooms: The Time Machine and Budapest Express. For Mindcrime , we suggest a minimum age of 11. In all cases, children pay €22.50 per person.

How many children can play together?
The Time Machine can be played with 8 to 15 children at the same time. Budapest Express accommodates up to 6 players, and Mindcrime Team Battle can be played with 6 to 13 children. If you have a larger group, you can book multiple rooms at the same time.
Are the escape rooms suitable for children?
Yes! We recommend our escape rooms for children aged 9 and above. The Time Machine is specially designed for children. Budapest Express is also very suitable for kids. For Mindcrime Team Battle, we suggest a minimum age of 11.
Where can we park?
There is parking available directly in front of our building. On weekends and on weekday evenings after 7pm, parking is free. On weekdays before 7pm, parking costs €2.50 per hour.
As a parent, do I have to be present during the party?
Yes, we ask parents to remain on the premises during the party. For children under 13, a parent must accompany them inside the escape room. This is not only required, but also fun — you get to see how the children work together and enjoy the experience.
Can we have something to eat or drink at your location?
We work with several restaurants nearby. If you would like to have something to eat or drink after the escape room, there are plenty of good options close to our location.
How can I book?
You can book directly on our booking page. Click the green "Book now" button at the top of the page, select the number of children, then choose your preferred date, time and escape room.
You can pay in advance via iDeal, credit card or PayPal. Paying afterwards by card is also possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cash.
